Bistro’s Grand Opening

La La Bistro is the latest business in a string of new openings to pop up on PLaLaBistro_051816Bark Boulevard. The new take-out and delivery food establishment in Massapequa Park transitioned a few months ago from a traditional deli, revamped the menu and redesigned the store ambiance offering a more family-friendly space. The gourmet bistro is a healthy spin on fast-casual dining appealing to professional working individuals and families seeking home-cooked freshness. Customers can stop in for a wholesome breakfast and lunch menu, with indoor, outdoor and rear patio seating available. Online ordering, takeout and delivery are also available.

La La Bistro was officially welcomed to Massapequa Park by a grand opening ribbon cutting on May 7.

Owner Suzi Batta wanted a healthier and fresher option for her family and community, and thought that opening her own shop was the ticket to safe food practices.

“I was concerned about food borne allergies in my family and found myself scrutinizing every ingredient in my supermarket purchases. I could not pronounce half the items on the food labels,” said Batta, who spent years honing her own recipes, using only fresh ingredients determined to put a quality product on her table. “We take pride in our menu that incorporates all natural whole roasted meats, hormone and antibiotic-free chicken. Our deli meats have no preservatives or fillers and our soups and salads are scratch made from fresh, quality ingredients.”

Batta, who comes from a successful Internet advertising and marketing career, has all the tools at her disposal for success. She is also an avid foodie and the organic food mommy is usually found behind the scenes in the kitchen at La La’s.

La La Bistro features handcrafted soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps and panini. Homemade hot daily specials are served Monday through Friday and include gluten free, organic and vegan menu choices.

Also in on the collaborative menu effort is Nick Dinelli and Toni Pena. Dinelli brings more than 20 years of successful experience in the food and restaurant management field and shares the passion of healthy delicious menu choices and exemplary customer service for his customers. Pena, a former professional corporate recruiting executive, avid restaurant reviewer and an organic food mom, shares her love of hot sauces, tasty recipes and key healthy ingredients.
